We are very lucky to have a little girl like Blue. She is a sweet, loving girl who lives to play and spend time with her family.
Blue recently suffered an unknown injury to her face causing severe muscle wasting. After an extensive battery of tests and procedures followed up with a neurology consultation, it was determined that she had suffered damage to the trigeminal nerve that feeds the masticatory muscles. We are extremely happy to announce that Blue has recovered! Our only reminders of the incident are the two small scars from one of the procedures.
We are fortunate that our veterinarian aggressively sought the diagnosis and that treatment was successful.
